Pre-Installation Site Survey Checklist for the CE-UWL Pot Washer
A clean install starts with a site survey: confirm floor space and clearance for the 1030 × 895 mm footprint, three-phase power at 27.4 kW, a ¾" water inlet and 1½" drain, and a φ175 mm exhaust path. Verifying these before the machine ships prevents installation delays.
Space, clearance and delivery route
Allow the 1030 × 895 × 1825 mm footprint plus front clearance for the fold-down door and rear access for plumbing and exhaust. Critically, confirm that doorways, corridors and any turns can route the crated machine to the install point — a machine that fits the floor plan but not the doorway is the most common delivery-day surprise.
Power
Confirm 380V / 50Hz / 3-phase service rated for 27.4 kW, with a 10 mm² supply cable and an appropriately sized breaker. If only single-phase is available, order the 220V / 1-phase variant at the same time — it must be configured at the factory. Have an electrician verify the panel capacity, not just the outlet.
Water and drainage
Provide a ¾" inlet at 0.2–0.5 MPa and a 1½" drain with a trap nearby. Check water hardness; below 5 °dH is ideal, otherwise plan a softener to protect the booster and rinse jets from scale. Confirm inlet pressure under load — pressure that sags when other equipment runs will weaken the rinse.
Exhaust and floor
Route the φ175 mm exhaust to an overhead hood to clear steam, and ensure a level concrete floor with a drain nearby. An out-of-level install stresses the door seal and pools water; a missing drain turns every unload into a mopping job.
Final pre-ship confirmation
Before the machine ships, confirm all four in writing: footprint and delivery route, power configuration, water/drain provision, and exhaust path. A downloadable site-survey checklist is provided under Resources — complete it with your installer so nothing surfaces on delivery day.
